Michelle

A keen interest in science,
human anatomy, physiology and psychology combined with a passion for a natural, holistic lifestyle led Michelle to participate in Alex Armstrong’s Flow Yoga Teacher Training (2004).Michelle began teaching Flow Yoga in 2006 with a style evolved from her background in Martial Arts (childhood), Nutrition (Curtin University, 2004), Health and Fitness (TAFE, 2006), Meditation (Bali Usada Meditasi, 2005; BSWA, 2006/7), Swedish Massage (TAFE, 2006), and Ayurveda (K.K.H. Ranjan de Alwis, Sri Lanka, 2009). Michelle has experience in teaching Yoga for Mums & Bubs and Yoga for Adults/Young Adults with Special Needs.
The knowledge and direct teaching of her parents and grandparents and also by that of Alex Armstrong (Flow Yoga), Simon Borg Olivier (Yoga Synergy), Emma Balnaves (Shadow Yoga) and Merta Ada (Bali Usada Meditasi) have been great inspiration to Michelle. She is also influenced by the works of Patanjali, T.K.V. Desikachar, Patabi Jois, B.K.S. Iyengar, Gandhi, Einstein and Jane Goodall; and by the uniqueness and integrity of her family, friends and peers.
Michelle enjoys a quiet life in the fresh air with her two sons, and maintains a dedicated personal practise that continues to progress with the seasons and life’s experiences.
